Today I met with a visiting legislator from Japan’s HOKKAIDO assembly at the World Affairs Council in Concord. (https://wacnh.org/)
SACHIYO SAKAGUCHI is a member of the House of Representatives in Tokyo, Japan and KATO CHIHO is their policy advisor. It was very interesting to learn how these women got into politics and about the type of work they do. I look forward to exchanging information with them in the future. They were particularly intrigued as to why we legislators work for $100 a year in NH.
