It was an honor to be in Epping with Governor Kelly Ayotte and the men and women of the New Hampshire State Police as we celebrated Sherrill’s Law.
I co-sponsored this bill to expand our Move Over law and ensure stronger protections for troopers and first responders working along our roadsides. With the number of accidents we’ve been seeing, this is part of a larger strategy to make our roads safer for everyone.
I also want to thank my colleagues for their bipartisan support — proving that when it comes to public safety, we can work together to get things done.
Today was a proud moment, standing with the troopers who serve our state and seeing this bill become law.
