It was great to join this dedicated group for the ribbon cutting of the brand new Rodney Bartlett water treatment plant. This new plant significantly increases Jaffrey and Peterborough’s production capacities for clean water, and creates new possibilities for future residential and commercial growth in these communities. It’s so great to see people come together from across the political aisle and town borders to make important projects like these a reality.
As many of you know, I’ve sponsored and helped pass several bills expanding water protections in the State of New Hampshire. Access to clean drinking water is a right all NH residents deserve to enjoy, so I’m very excited to see the opening of this new facility!
Thank you to Representative Bill Boyd for your work on this project, Jaffrey’s superintendent of utilities Tony Cavaliere, Peterborough’s Department of Public Works Director Seth MacLean, and so many others!
“Clean, reliable water is not something that just happens.” You all came together, you rolled up your sleeves, and you got this project done. It is amazing what you can do when you work together, and we all need to remember that.”
Thank you to the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript for this piece drawing more attention to the Rodney Bartlett Water Treatment Facility. So proud of this!
