Today, June 11, I filed today for re-election to represent the 13 towns of NH Senate District 9.
It has been an honor to serve in the New Hampshire Senate for the past six years. I am extraordinarily thankful for the trust voters have shown in me and the opportunity to help so many people.
My priorities remain the same:
- No Income Tax — No Sales Tax – No Increase of State Property Taxes.
- Continue to provide resources to public schools and local government to curb property tax increases.
- Improve access to lower cost prescriptions reduce insurance company delays for needed health care.
- Improve public safety by reforming lenient bail laws and stop open border policies.
- Protect small businesses which is essential for good paying jobs and benefits.
I am proud to be known as a strong and spirited leader as well as for my community involvement. As a former town councilor in Bedford, I understand the pressures facing local government which is why I fought for property tax relief by dedicating 30% of the Rooms and Meals Tax revenue to local government. I will continue to use common sense to do what is right for people in Senate District 9.
I have also been recognized for my efforts. I received the Spirit of New Hampshire Volunteer Service Award when I founded Bedford Cares a non-profit that helped immune compromised people get groceries during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I was proud to be named New Futures Legislator of the Year for my leadership investing in child and maternal care.
