I was pleased to attend and say a few words about Dan McDonald, retired chief of fire in New Boston, at the dedication ceremony of the new fire station named after him. Dan served 42 years with the New Boston Fire Department, including 23 years as chief.
Dan, who was present, was a wonderful and dedicated public servant and deserved this honor. His family was very proud.
I’d like to thank the community for supporting efforts to get this done. For me it was an honor to be a part of the dedication ceremony.
