When I was in New Boston on Saturday I discovered the most amazing tiny little coffee shop run by a Mom named Rachel. She was inspired to open it because her son has cancer. That’s where she got the name for “The Cure Cafe”.
From their Facebook page:
The Cure Café is a coffee shop, bakery, and breakfast spot in New Boston, NH at 8 Mill St, located in a historic barn-style building near the Piscataquog River with outdoor deck seating. It took over the former Northeast Cafe and is known for inexpensive, made-to-order food like The Robert sandwich on an everything bagel, breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls, and oat-milk lattes. Hours are 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM Monday and Wednesday through Friday, and 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. It is closed Tuesdays.
Its mission includes partnerships with Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic and the New Hampshire Make-A-Wish Foundation, and it runs fundraisers like donating 100% of “The Colin” sandwich sales during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
