I’m very proud to see HB 1469, a bill I co-sponsored, and several important new protections for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking signed into law.
Working alongside the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, we’ve taken meaningful steps to strengthen protections for survivors, improve access to services and justice, and help ensure that people are treated with the safety and dignity they deserve.
Standing up for those who need a voice and protecting people in vulnerable situations is some of the most important work we do in Concord. I’m grateful to the advocates, survivors, and lawmakers such as Representative Rhodes who helped move these measures forward, and Governor Kelly Ayotte for signing it into law.
I’m proud to keep working toward a safer New Hampshire for everyone.
