Last year, we passed a law (SB 206) to get cell phones out of the classroom, and the results show our efforts are paying off. Teachers say students are more focused and less distracted.

I’m so happy to see my bill producing such positive results! According to a recent survey of educators, 75% reported that students were more focused following the implementation of a bell-to-bell cellphone restriction in their schools.

Creating classrooms with fewer distractions gives teachers more time to teach, and students more opportunity to learn.
