New Hampshire observes Children’s Environmental Health Day annually on the second Thursday of October (October 8, 2026), established officially by state statute (RSA 4:13-ee) to raise awareness about clean air, clean water, safe food, and healthy environments for kids. This is the 8th year of observance.
Senator Ricciardi was instrumental in getting this bill signed into law in 2018 (see photo below). This is something she had encouraged even before she became a Senator and was pleased to get the bill approved once she was in office.
